THE PROBLEM

Fans list tickets for sale for a variety of reasons. Sometimes plans change, sometimes buddy cancels. And sometimes fans know they got a good deal on their tickets and they want to sell them for a profit.

But whatever the reason, fans have historically been left in the dark when it comes to pricing their tickets. They had to do a lot of work to figure out the right price — and often ended up guessing, or under-valuing their tickets. Fans edited their ticket listing 3-4 times on average, and often didn’t end up selling them.

 

THE SOLUTION

By adding a simple bar graph and some helpful copy, we were able to help fans get the true value for their tickets.

 

The outcome

  • Fans edited their ticket listings half as much

  • Sell-through went up +13%

  • GTV went up +$40M
